BRONZE LEVEL UK SNIFFER DOG 6 Week course

The UK SNIFFER DOG BRONZE LEVEL course is our foundation scentwork programme, aimed at beginner level and designed fo pet dogs.

The course is by Kate who is a certified UK Sniffer Dog GOLD level Instructor and Enigma Canine Trusted Scentwork Instructor.

Cost for the 6 week course is  £99, which includes your own Scent work kit, mini online course with video tutorials of all the exercises we cover over the 6 weeks.

In our BRONZE level UKSD Scentwork classes, dogs are taught to associate a particular odour with a reward, such as food or a toy. At this level we use a red Kong as the odour source, and teach them to search and indicate on the Kong scent.


Once the dog has learned to recognise the scent and associate it with a reward, the scent can be hidden in all sorts of fun places, from bags to chairs to even vehicles, working with our dogs scentsational noses and turning them into true scent-detection sleuths!.

About our Scentwork Classes..

  • We do have places for reactive dogs, please contact us by clicking HERE before booking your slot so we can discuss the specific needs of you and your dog and whether our course is suitable at this time.
  • Relaxed and friendly classes which take place in a spacious, purpose built indoor dog training barn.
  • Places are restricted to no more than 5 dogs on each course, so do book early to avoid disappointment! 
  • Scentwork kit and online support provided to complement your 6 week Scentwork course. You have access to the online content for one year.
  •  Videos on how to do each exercise included! Plus a WhatsApp group created for BRONZE courses where you can submit videos for feedback and gain useful tips throughout the training.

Scentwork taps into a dog's innate abilities, to cater to both their mental and physical needs.  
Sniffing fulfils a major part of our dogs sensory needs, helping  them feel contented and relaxed  
Scentwork is mindfulness for dogs, giving nervous, anxious dogs something to focus on and feel happier and more positive going into new or stressful situations going forward.

All our training is founded on modern methods based on sound clinical evidence. We pride ourselves on offering kind and ethical coaching systems based on supporting the needs of both dog and dog owner.

I have a kind and empathetic training ethos combined with a science based approach to dog-training.  

In order to learn something new, our dogs must be feel comfortable in their environment. Whilst we do our very best to accommodate sensitive dogs, if you think your dog might struggle around other dogs, this may not be right class. Please do check out our individual sessions which might be better suited.  

I do not allow any aversives ( choke collar, prong collar) or any jerking or shouting at dogs in my classes.

We welcome fully vaccinated pups from 12 weeks old. Scentwork are calm, low intensity classes that are great at helping young dogs develop their confidence in a safe and comfortable environment.
Obviously we have to make allowances, as puppies tire quickly and are not able to concentrate on a task as long as more mature dogs.
