Being a certified dog trainer,  with plenty of puppy specific courses under our belt, and having bred a litter of labradors, we like to think we know puppies! Our training classes are designed around  teaching core skills and having fun with lots of safe exploration.

Sensory exploration is an important part of the development of puppies. Sensory play is perfect, as it allows them to explore the environment around them using their senses whilst working at their own pace. It is a great way for them to stimulate their little brains in positive ways, helping them problem solve and building confidence around novel objects, textures and smells. We use lots of fun equipment such as wobble boards, tunnels, sniffy trails and ball pits. Exploration of sights, scents, noises and textures provides relaxation, enrichment and stimulation. It has been shown that puppies gently habituated to novel things are more likely to grow into more robust and confident older dogs

My Hart Dog puppy classes are thoughtfully designed to help you and your family successfully navigate those early months by providing the tools and knowledge to raise a happy and resilient young dog.  On our puppy course we also train core life skills  such as learning how to settle, leave it, loose lead walking and recall. 

 

We are excited to be holding our Sensory Puppy Course in a purpose built dog training barn based in Tytherington. My Hart Dog Training  uses positive and force free training methods only. Our classes are designed to give your puppy the very best start in life!
